RUFIN gets Monitoring and Evaluation Committee for programme implementation

A 13-member Monitoring and Evaluation Committee has been inaugurated for the Rural Finance Institution Building Programme (RUFIN) with the mandate of reviewing the Programme’s Log frame and performance indicators as well as other assignments as related to its Terms of Reference.


The Committee would also decide on appropriate studies on the impact of the programme as from this year, in addition to approving the Management Information System for the programme, among other issues.


The inauguration was conducted by Dr. Samuel Negedu at the Stakeholder Forum held in Abuja under the auspices of RUFIN’s M&E Unit, on 1st February, 2011.


Membership of the Committee includes a representative each from RUFIN’s key partners, the CBN, NAPEP, Bank of Agriculture (BOA), Federal Department of Cooperatives , SMEDAN and two from the National Programme on Agriculture and Food Security (NPAFS), three from the three Zonal Offices of RUFIN and the Central Programme Management Unit.
